Merry Christmas and happy all other holidays! I don’t celebrate Christmas for the religious aspect of it, but I love it in a secular, commercial way. Curling up under blankets drinking hot chocolate and listening to Christmas songs = what Christmas means to me and why I find it so dear. Well, as long as I avoid the mad Christmas shoppers, at least!! ;)

I’m taking a break from Xmas Songs to bring you something from one of my favorite bands/albums of 2010. Jenny Lewis (lead singer of Rilo Kiley, also with a couple solo albums) and Johnathan Rice (solo artist who has been touring with Jenny as part of her backing band for years) formed a fabulous musical duo, Jenny and Johnny. They’ve been working together since 2005 when they were introduced by Conor Oberst (of Bright Eyes). “I’m Having Fun Now” is probably in my top 5 albums of 2010. “Just Like Zeus” is one of my favorite tracks from the record. Enjoy!
